Food handling hygiene issues The young man I asked to cut some cheese hand been handling notes and coins; without washing his hands nor wearing gloves he cut the cheese and picked up crumbs of cheese from the counter and with his bare fingers squashed it on to the piece of cheese he was packaging for me.I feel a good handling course is needed!Won't be buying cheese there again!
Good friendly service delicious French cakes and pastrys, there filled baguettes are a must. Just ring the bell on the counter for service. Also has waitress service upstairs.

Lovely french delicatessen with restaurant above that has a good and very tasty lunch menu. Booking recommended as it does get busy, especially during the holiday season.The shop also has some lovely Mediterranean crockery for sale.
Really good bistro and shop in fabulous Sandwich. The ground floor is a food store selling interesting French foods and a comprehensive range of cheeses. There is also a quick bistro with a small amount of seating or you can take away or be served over the road. Upstairs is the main bistro with a great French menu. Do visit, this place is clean, beautifully kept and a good experience.
